Itinerary
Departure from Tirana
Leave Tirana for a scenic coastal day trip to one of Albania’s most underrated destinations — the Cape of Rodon, a dramatic peninsula stretching deep into the Adriatic Sea.
Your first stop is the Church of St. Anthony, a tranquil medieval monastery surrounded by sea views and peaceful landscapes.
Along the coastline you’ll also see several Communist-era bunkers, a symbol of Albania’s Cold War past and the massive bunkerization project under Enver Hoxha.
Continue your exploration at Rodoni Castle, built in the 15th century by Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg.
There is a walking route of 15- 20 minutes in nature to get there from where we will park the car at the bay .
Walk through the ruins, learn its strategic role against the Ottomans, and enjoy panoramic photo stops along the cliffs.
To end the day, enjoy free time to relax on the beach—perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply unwinding by the Adriatic before the comfortable return to Tirana.
You will also get to enjoy the most beautiful sunset in Albania .
The Tuscany of Albania
