Albania the hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts. This 5-day active tour combines adventure and nature, offering the perfect opportunity to experience the country’s stunning landscapes. With stand up paddling in Shkodra Lake , hiking in Theth, Albanian Alps , and canyoning in Osumi Canyon in the southern part , this tour is designed to challenge and inspire you.
DAY 1
Tirana- Shkoder
Tirana to Shkoder- Visiting Rozafa Castle
As we set out on our journey from Tirana, we are headed towards the beautiful North of Albania, with the majestic Castle of Rozafa as our first destination. Perched atop a hill, overlooking the city, the Castle is steeped in Albanian history, from antiquity to the Iliryan-Roman wars. Cascaded with legends, the Castle stands as a reminder of the timelessness of Albanian Epos.
Shkodra City Tour
Leaving the Castle, we travel down to the vibrant city of Shkoder! With its unique architecture, hilarious sense of humour, and warm hospitality, this city is an essential part of Albania’s history. It is also a place of great religious tolerance, with a Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, and Muslim Mosque all in close proximity. Let’s embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the most exciting parts of Shkoder, including the illustrious “Pedonale”!
Stand up Paddling On the lake shores of Skadar Lake
When we have finished exploring the beauties of Shkodra city we drive for 10 minutes to get to Skadar Like for an unforgettable stand up paddling experience, paddling into the Ramsar Site between the reeds we will get into a magical looking part of the lake covered in water lilies and wild birds flying nearby.

DAY 2
Exploring Theth and Hike to the Blue Eye
Theth National Park
After Breakfast and full of energy we can start driving to north of Albania to reach the Albanian Alps and the final destination of the day Theth. The route takes us through amazing nature sceneries, a short stop in Boge will be our first welcome to the stunning dramatic Alps of Albania.
Hike to Blue Eye , Theth
Arriving in Teth we leave the car and head to Blue Eye of Theth, the hike takes around 40 minutes and you can have a swim in the cold water of the Blue Eye to relax from the hike.
Lunch In Nderlysaj and we drive back to Shkodra
Exploring Theth Village
We shall have the opportunity to visit the venerable Catholic Church of Theth and the Lock-in Tower. Possessing a history of more than four centuries, this edifice stands as a symbol of the amelioration of the ancient blood feuds of Albania.

DAY 3
Shkoder Berat
Berat Historical Town
We shall set forth from Shkodra and make our way to Central South Albania, to the City of Many Windows, Berat. Since 2008, it has been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage list, and continues to be a significant city even today, boasting a remarkable history of over two millennia. Despite the passage of time, life has remained persistent here, and the Castle or “Kalaja” is the oldest district of the city. Predominantly inhabited by the Christian Orthodox population, this part of the city features a remarkable assemblage of churches, some of which date as far back as the 14th century.

DAY 4
Osumi Canyons and Bogova Waterfall
Osumi Canyon
The expanse of Albania’s grandest canyon spans a remarkable length of 26 kilometers. The canyon’s edges are home to a distinctive ecosystem that sustains verdant foliage year-round. Thriving alongside the Mediterranean shrubs of heath and briar is a diverse array of flora and fauna.
Our tour package encompasses a comprehensive exploration of the canyon, involving a two-hour walking tour within its depths. Additionally, we will pay a visit to the renowned Kasabashi bridge, the breathtaking “Bride’s Hole”, the historically significant Footprint of Abaz Aliu, and other awe-inspiring panoramic locations.
Bogova Waterfall
One of the most breathtaking sites within the Bogove National Park is a portion of Tomorr National Park, found within the illustrious Berat region. Embark on a hike through this stunning area, where you will be accompanied by the soothing sounds of the cascading waterfall. Take a moment to pause and appreciate the natural marvels around you, and perhaps even indulge in a swim in the crystal-clear waters

DAY 5
Berat-Karavasta-Tirane
Divjake Karavasta National Park
Karavasta Lagoon is a popular destination to learn about the unique ecosystem and endemic animals of the area. This lagoon is a protected nature reserve located in the central-western region of Albania. It covers an area of 24,000 hectares and is home to over 250 species of birds, including the rare Dalmatian Pelican, which is the largest bird in Albania.
One of the highlights of the visit to Karavasta Lagoon is the boat tour through the lagoon to the bird-watching tower. This tour offers visitors a unique opportunity to see the diverse bird species that inhabit the area, including the famous flamingos that are present during the breeding season. The bird-watching tower offers a stunning panoramic view of the lagoon, making it an excellent spot for taking photographs. Overall, a visit to Karavasta Lagoon is an educational and enriching experience for nature lovers who want to gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of preserving the environment.
