By booking a tour, activity, transfer, or travel service with Local Friends Albania, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

  

Local Friends Albania is a licensed tour operator based in Albania, offering private and small-group tours, day trips, multi-day packages, and transfers within Albania and the Balkans.

  

•All bookings are subject to availability.

•A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and a confirmation is issued by Local Friends Albania via email or WhatsApp.

•The lead traveler is responsible for providing accurate personal details for all participants.

  

•Free cancellation up to 6 days before the scheduled departure date.

•50% refund if cancellation is made 3 to 5 days before the departure date.

•No refund for cancellations made less than 3 days before departure.

•No refund will be issued for no-shows, early departures, or unused services during the tour.

 

•Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time.

•Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour start time are non-refundable.

•No refund for no-shows or late arrivals.

  

Some tours organized by Local Friends Albania include visits to other countries (e.g. Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece).

•It is entirely the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are:

•Legally eligible to enter and exit all countries included in the itinerary.

•In possession of a valid passport, visas (if required), and any necessary documentation.

•Local Friends Albania does NOT take responsibility for:

•Denied entry or exit by border authorities

•Visa issues, passport validity issues, or border police decisions

 

•No refunds will be issued if a traveler is denied entry or exit at a border due to documentation or eligibility issues.

 

•If a traveler is denied entry during a shared tour or day tour, Local Friends Albania:

•Will drop the traveler at the border area

•The traveler must arrange and cover the cost of a taxi or alternative transport back

•The tour will continue for the rest of the group.

  

•Local Friends Albania reserves the right to:

•Adjust itineraries due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, force majeure, or operational reasons.

•Any changes will aim to maintain the quality and value of the experience.

•Minor changes do not entitle travelers to a refund.

  

•Tour prices include only the services explicitly listed in the tour description.

•Any additional expenses such as:

•Meals (unless stated)

•Entrance fees (unless stated)

•Personal expenses

•Tips

are not included unless clearly mentioned.

  

•Being on time at meeting points

•Following guide instructions

•Respecting local laws, customs, and cultural norms

•Ensuring they are physically fit for the chosen activity

•Informing Local Friends Albania in advance of any medical conditions or special requirements

  

•Travelers participate in tours at their own risk.

•We strongly recommend having valid travel insurance covering:

•Medical expenses

•Accidents

•Trip cancellations

•Personal belongings

•Local Friends Albania is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control.

  

Local Friends Albania shall not be held liable for:

•Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, traffic, strikes, government actions, or force majeure

•Loss or damage of personal belongings

•Accidents or incidents caused by third-party providers (hotels, restaurants, boat operators, etc.)

  

No refunds or compensation will be provided for events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

•Natural disasters

•Extreme weather conditions

•Political unrest

•Border closures

•Pandemics or government restrictions

  

•By participating in our tours, travelers agree that photos or videos taken during the tour may be used for promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.

  

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.

  

By booking a service with Local Friends Albania, you confirm that:

•You accept responsibility for all travelers included in your booking
