We begin our journey early in the morning from Tirana, heading north towards the Montenegro border. During the drive, your guide will provide insights into the historical ties between Albania and Montenegro. As we cross the border, please ensure you have a valid passport and the necessary documentation for entry. Our first stop is Stari Bar, a remarkable medieval town rich in history. Nestled at the base of Mount Rumija, this fortress once played a crucial role in regional defence. Wander through the ruins of ancient churches, hammams, and aqueducts, and get a glimpse into its Ottoman and Venetian past. After exploring the castle, we stroll through the charming bazaar, where you can find local crafts, fresh produce, and traditional Montenegrin delicacies.

Next, we drive to the coastal town of Ulqin, one of Montenegro’s most picturesque destinations. Here, we visit the Old Town (Kalaja), a fortress perched above the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic. As we walk along the scenic seaside promenade, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the local seafood restaurants, savoring Mediterranean flavors with fresh ingredients. Whether you choose to explore more of the town or relax by the water, Ulqin’s coastal charm is sure to leave a lasting impression.

After a day of cultural exploration and relaxation, we begin our journey back to Tirana in the afternoon, reaching the city by late afternoon. (5-6 pm)
