As we set out from Tirana, we drive towards Prizren, an esteemed title of the Cultural Capital of Kosovo. Lying along the Bistrica River, under the shadow of the timeless Prizren Castle, this city has been a beacon for Albanian history and politics of the nineteenth century

Thus, we cannot pass up the opportunity to visit the House of the Prizren League, a significant landmark which marked the first effort for independence and the establishment of a parliament and government. Furthermore, we can acquaint ourselves with the culture of the area by visiting the Ethnographic Museum housed in the House of the League.

Located around the majestic Sinan Pasha Mosque, this is the most captivating and historically enriched part of Prizren. Wander down the ancient streets of the old city and marvel in the colourful traditional bazaar, where charming handcrafts and exquisite perfume shops line every corner.used in the House of the League.

Before a traditional lunch in the Old Bazaar of Prizren we can climb the path on the hill to the Fortress of Prizren where we can enjoy a lovely sight of Prizren from a bird eye view.
